Map Reader
A Secure and Effective Means For Illumination and Magnification!

AmeriGlo's self-illuminated Map Reader permits you to review documents and read maps in any light condition, including total darkness. It is ideal for use when climatic conditions are at their worst. From the heat of a desert to the cold of a tundra, and even under water, the AmeriGlo Map Reader is a reliable and proven device. It is designed to clearly illuminate and magnify under all climatic conditions without affecting night vision.

The Light
The Map Reader utilizes time-proven and safe tritium light sources. The light sources are maintenance-free and reliable for the Map Reader's service life of 10 years. White light is standard to preserve map legend colors. The Map Reader does not contain any bulbs, batteries, or moving parts. Light output is not affected by temperature, humidity, altitude, or operational plane. The lights are positioned at the base of the unit angled down. This increases security by protecting the user from detection under low light conditions. The Map Reader luminance maintains night vision.

The Lens and Housing
A solid lens prevents ingress of moisture and condensation. A scale panel is placed below the lens to protect the lens and provide a calibration scale. The scale options are in degrees, kilometers, milliradian, or clear. A durable black rubber housing encapsulates and protects the solid lens and scale panel.

Developed to help eliminate friendly fire accidents in combat and training, the Personnel Marker is a highly effective device enabling identification of an individual, whether stationary or moving on foot in the darkness.

The Light
he Personnel Marker utilizes time-proven and safe tritium light sources. The light sources are maintenance-free and reliable for the Personnel Marker's service life of 10 years. Green light is standard, as it has the longest life of available colors. The Personnel Marker does not contain any bulbs, batteries, or moving parts. Light output is not affected by temperature, humidity, altitude, or operational plane. The Personnel Marker luminance maintains night vision. The Personal Illuminator has a normal brightness of 180 µl. Infrared is a light option.
Performance
The Personnel Marker is ideal for training and combat situations. It can be used on personnel or equipment. For security reasons, visibility is limited to 15 yards in starlight conditions. The marker incorporates a spring clip for quick attachment to clothing or equipment.

Torch Light
AmeriGlo's Torch Light, A Lightweight and Flexible Light Source.

The self-illuminated Torch is a compact and rugged light great for soldiers and divers. Like all AmeriGlo products, it is suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres and will continue to operate normally in adverse conditions, even when immersed in water.

Green light is standard, as it has the longest life of available colors. The Torch does not contain any bulbs, batteries, or moving parts. The self-illuminated Peg Light is a durable spike of rugged construction capable of penetrating earth, soft timber, and tarmac. With its always-on lamps, it is ideal for situations, including underwater and cave use, requiring quick marking

The Peg Light can be rapidly driven into earth, soft timber, and tarmac. it is visible at a range of more than 25 yards to the naked eye and has a secure viewing angle of 90 degrees. Aiming Post Lamp
Establish And Maintain Covert Weapons Alignment In Darkness!

AmeriGlo's self-powered Aiming Post Lamps provide safe and temporary marking with superior performance in situations of low-light and poor visibility caused by adverse weather. The devices are designed for use with mortars and field artillery.

The Light
The Aiming Post Lamp utilizes time-proven and safe tritium light sources. The light sources are maintenance-free and reliable for the Peg Light's service life of 10 years. Green and amber lights are standard. The Aiming Post Lamp does not contain any bulbs, batteries, or moving parts. Light output is not affected by temperature, humidity, altitude, or operational plane. The Aiming Post Lamp luminance maintains night vision. The Aiming Post Lamp has a normal brightness of 330 µl for green and 160 µl for amber.. The Aiming Post Lamp is available in infrared.

Performance
The Aiming Post Lamp has a secure viewing angle of only 15°. Differentiation enabled by using two colors, green and amber, and snap-on masks fitting over the lamps. Visible from 210 yards in starlight conditions when viewed directly through the lens. The Aiming Post Lamp can be supplied with a choice of adjustable clamps to facilitate easy fixing to either round or square section supports from 13mm to 38mm.

Output Options
To enable Aiming Post Lamp differentiation and specialization, aluminum masks are available for clip-fitting directly onto the Lamp. Masks incorporate cutout legend in either "+" or "-" shapes and are finished matte black.
